If its not violating anything then why we have shortage of water coming into our rivers from India???.......

har baat main India India mat karo
agar India water divert kar raha hai toh bolo
India ne joh dam banaya hai woh hydro power generate karne ke liye banaya hai,jaisa china ne brahmaputra per banaya hai
shuru mein hume bhi wohi laga tha china water divert karega per unhone nahi kiya,aur hum ab china china nahi bolte jab india main water shortage hota hai

It looks like India is inviting its own destruction. Cutting off water is equivalent to an all-out nuclear attack in terms of casualties, and will surely be the one thing that is guaranteed to turn the already hostile India-Pakistan border into an active nuclear war zone.

Well India has been alleged to have violated the treaty for years. So, if it is as "invitation" for a no holds barred military exchange what has kept your friends from laucnhing into Indian soil. After all, the Chinese have godfathered them into becoming whatever it is they claim to be.

So, either you have made some gross miscalculation with your simplistic argument, or pak doesn't have enough confidence to flex their muscles against India.

India is already destroying itself without our help, and getting downgraded by all the major ratings agencies, soon to "junk" status.

India is already contained by Pakistan alone, not only literally but also mentally. India has nothing to do with us, they can keep claiming to be a superpower and pray that someone listens.

Pakistan containing india?! A country that has engaged india militarily 4 times, not once scored a comprehensive victory?? under the n-umbrella, does not have the confidence to engage India militarily, so resorts to desperate measures of terrorism?? a country which is running around like a head-less chicken with no cognisable centre of power (parliament?? judiciary?? military?)?? a country that has people mocking at indian growth rates, not realising that their own economy barely has a breath?? a country that has lost control over swathes of land to tribal warlords?? a country whose military spend is a fraction of its much larger neighbour??

For where it is right now, China leadership certainly appears to have more competent people at work than some, here, who need their daily fodder of jingoism.

Simple reasons:
1. Population explosion:Though water flowing through indus basin has remained same but the population has exploded many folds hence less per capita water availability.Its just simple maths.

2.Mismanagement by Pakistan govt on water storage and its proper management.

3.over use/stealing of water with in pakistan by high and mighty.There were even army stealing waters with in pakistan in pakistani papers.

4. global warming climate change.

As india start using its legal share of water under IWT on wester rivers there will be more reduced flow in future.For 60 years india doesn't had options to use its share so it was flowing unhindered to pakistan.but not anymore.
