Weapons found on militants in the last few encounters were local weapons that were seized from police/paras. Their arms train seems to have dried up long ago.

they have ALWAYS used locally snatched or bought weapons...indian troops have no financial security & aren't even guaranteed a pension to their families if they get killed or disabled as goi is infamous for dismissing their claims for pensions & benefits on grounds of not following some piddly protocol. so they've always used weapons & explosives from yindian troops!
