Excuse moi? There are over 2000 movies released in India every year and as you correctly said 2-3 Pakistani actors were given a chance to work in Bollywood, more likely as a charity or good will gesture from Bollywood industry which is full of leftist retards. I seriously doubt about Fawad Khan being popular in India.

seriously bollywood is a buisness what do you mean by good will gesture lol..from what I have seen on social media indian girls went gaga on him

nobody is denying that bollywood is not a huge industry..it is also it is bigger than pak tv industry obv but you guys portray that pak actors beg to come there which is not the case..in most cases they are approached by indians to work there

Nah, as pointed out by others it is their agents who get in contact with Indian film makers.

His serials would not have flopped in India if Indians were crazy about him or his acting skill.

Good for her. Must have been a change for her to live in a city like mumbai with no power cuts .

MUMBAI: Pakistani dramas not only grabbing vast popularity amongst nationals but also successful to drew attention of millions of audience in neighbouring country India.

The dramas that got prominent popularity include ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ and ‘Humsafar’ while broadcasted in India. India media admitted that the two Pakistani dramatics plays topped the drama rating across the country.

Even, ‘Yudh’ casting Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has failed to attract Indian audience against the Pakistani dramas.
Media reports claimed that an Indian company reportedly named as IANS placed Pakistani dramas on top. The company stated that many of Indian dramas based on domestic disputes ‘flopped’ while significant decrement in popularity of dramas was seen in India.

‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ was residing at top position on the rating list while ‘Humsafar’ placed on second position with lead stars including Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan.

However, an Indian play ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ grabbed third position on the list.

I dont think you know what you are talking about..just incredibly biased

What you posted was also an opinion and had no basis in reality. The TRPs were a reality though.

Don't worry even Turkish serials flopped in India despite heavy dose lying and intense promotion.

Look at all these people bitching on India because these serials did not work in India.

that channel was pathetic ..it only gained relevance due to humsafar running on it..i can also send you links showing indian people raving over pakistani shows and actually saying they prefer them over indian ones

ROFL at Pakistan's world famous movie and TV industry. All the Pakistani serials flopped in India with TRPs barely reaching 1 even in the first few weeks of the shows and tapering off thereafter despite heavy promotion attempt by Sickulars.

Zee Zindagi had TRP ratings of barely 3 while Star Plus and Colors had 154 and 134 respectively. Zee's Dr. Subhash Chandra had to take the cover of nationalism to rid his channel of Pakistani serials and give a new lease of life to Zindagi.

While in Pakistan Indian serials rule long after the rein of Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi ended. Now it the turn of Naagin :partay::partay:.

Considering most actors in serial have been hired straight into Bollywood suggests otherwise. It is popularity of Pakistani dramas that pushed their actors on map, and thus made the way into Bollywood industry.

Not only that, it is becoming normal routine. By comparison to home-grown veteran actors, Pakistani actors live up to the expectation and beyond. They are adored in India for reasons. :D

Bollywood is all about Punjabi, Kashmiri and Pathan faces. The old bollywood (till 80s) with the Indian taste (Urdu and Awadh culture) is lost forever. If not for the border, I'm sure Pakistani Punjabis may be controlling Bollywood.

Indian TV shows are shittier than shit. Most People dont even realize since they are accustomed to it from beginning and dont get a benchmark for comparison(since all are same).Hopefully Indian producers will learn now they cant fool audiences all the time.

This is a quote from an indian poster and the point I was trying to make earlier..mostly indian shows are saas bahu masala

Now don't blame the channel if the shows it was showing did not attract people. After all it is not the channel people are watching but the programs it has on it and Zindagi went full hog promoting Pakistani and Turkish dramas and ultimately had to abandon these.

As I already proved before when Indian serials run on foreign channels, even channels which were obscure become success over night and grow 4 folds.
