Video is from US navy no proof exist India develop this tech and in case of yes they develop, considering Indian record to develop and deploy indigenous weapons (Tejas, Arjun and drones) it is highly unlikely they deployed before Pakistan used it on them.

It is hard to find the original sources of these experiments because these experiments were done in 1980s, an age that people did not always upload articles on internet. Fortunately, I got a 1994 report about NON-US ELECTRODYNAMICS LAUNCHERS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT. It describes the development of EMG of Russia, German, UK, Japan and China.

It will go as far as a a muzzle velocity of Mach 6 projectile may go. My estimate is between 80 to 120 KM. US projectiles goes as far as 160 KM+.
