Cheese papri biscuits (posh cousin of the khari) - so light that they melt in the mouth, and if you dip into the tea, nothing comes out.

The Parsi alternative ..... titori ne vaal ni sabzi had with doodh paak ne puree (very laborious, so you clean and cook for a few days at least - my mom makes it with more gravy, delicious with broon bread chunks to soak it up)

I have nothing but immense respect to this community. So quiet and peaceful they are. Their contribution to growth of Indian economy is mindboggling thru their ventures.

Interesting fact - Have'nt heard any of their community member crying on the rooftop and demanding reservation !

I don't see the Naan in the picture. Iranians, Central Asians, and Pakistanis have that as an important staple. Did Parsis lose it somehow in India?

Yes bro we have naans, but they are slightly different to the ones we get to eat in restaurants.

Those are like this (I'm assuming these are the ones you are referring to) -

Parsi and Irani naans (at least what we refer to as naans when we go to the bakery) - we eat a lot of these dipped into meat gravies and daals and stuff. Some are flavoured, some are stuffed, some are plain with rye on the top (basicaly rye on flat bread)

This is called tabrizi barbari bread
