Beside there, We are also planning to BUY 6 more submarine in Project 75I. Amur, S-1000, Navaltis, France are 4 possible competitor. Also, 4 more Scorpean possible.

By 2020, 8 existing + 6 Scorpean + 4-5 ATV + 1 Akula = 18-20. We will maintain the number. Also, Quality of these submarines are good. Once we start Project 75I then total submarine would be 21-23 around 2020.

China we are buying Qing Class Nuclear Submarines and 2 Type 54 Frigates

Actually they are not nuclear submarines but AIP, they can carry Nuclear capable long range missiles which will give us Nuclear attack capability from sea.

We are in Sub continent bro, better if we talk less about corruption.

Stupid logic to only focus on subs, let's not forget the IN has one of the most formidable surface fleets in the world and it is only growing in power and size. Added to that is the ever more powerful IN ASW arm with the world's best ASW plane- P-8, not to mention all the other platforms in use and being procured.

In quantity and quality the IN is always going to beat the PN, no matter what way you cut it. Similarly the IN is going to have the technological edge over the PLAN for the foreseeable future.

That is reality that IN is much larger in fleet size. But do not frget they have to keep their presence in two oceans while PN is concentrating only in Arabian sea.Even in a war situation IN can not leave one side empty.

Quality wise IN is buyer of nearly same sources from which PN purchase.Maily UK, France,Germany, USA.Only one supplier is different Russia and China.

So if any one thinks IN is quality wise far sperior to PN, will be in deep sleep:cool:

partially true

but IN will soon have SSNs > 2 akulas and 1 arihant.

but question is does pak integrate Israel made weapons in its warships like Barack 2?

does pak has stealth ships like shivalik?

plus majority of PN destroyers are destroyer frigate weighing 3500 to 4000 tons while all destroyers of IN are large destroyers weighing 6000 tons+.

IN destroyers can carry more weapons as they are larger

then again we have AC and 2 more are coming
