The main battle place of Mahabharata was in India ..But Mahabharata is associated with entire northen Indian subcontinent which include Pakistan and some bit of Afganistan

. .
Pls there are no offenses ..meant to Pakistani memebers ..as what we are talking abt is 4000-3500 Yrs old facts and stories..

.
There should be no offenses taken by sensible people.. as I stressed before, The Gandhara civilization, The Indus Civilization are all part of both countries history.
The battle of Uhud in Arabia is taken as part of Islamic History, but if taken out of context of good and evil, Islam and the Pagans.. still happened.
Similarly..The battles and events in mahabharta, whether or not the supernatural is associated with them, probably did occur between human beings. History can be tampered, but it still needs a certain foundation to be recorded on. And a few people living in both countries..can trace in their genes a certain great great 20x granddaddy who fought in the Mahabhartha I suppose.

What I stress is denying the common history or claiming it exclusively as yours. I stress differentiation between religious and national history. While Mohammad bin Qasim does have great significance for in Pakistani textbooks as the man who brought Islam to the subcontinent, He did not have anything to do with Pakistan as such and is as relevant in modern India's history as he is in Pakistan's.

Nothing wrong if Indians copy Pakistanis and adopt those cultural things. but one thing should be made clear what belongs and what belonged on the land of Pakistan, is pakistani history and pakistani cultural heritage.

Now days Indians are going back to their African roots, we should also respect our aryan roots. Anyway let them copy, our infuence reached every African tribe of India. This is old thread, no point in discussing further.

Totally Wrong!

Biryani name was derived from Persian word beryā(n), meaning fried, roasted. It was originated in Turkey o r Persia and brought to India and Pakistan by Muslim travellers and merchants and Mughal.

only name is same, dish is completely different
