Personally though, I don't want China to ever be a superpower. The word "superpower" implies "global power projection", which I think is an absolute WASTE of money.

In my opinion, the only power projection we need, is the ability to defend our resource routes and shipping lanes. Anything beyond that is a waste of money and time.

Why would China in 2030, care about "projecting power" to Nicaragua? What a useless idea, we are not the USA, who want to set up "military bases" all over the world (and spend hundreds of billions of their own dollars every year doing so).

No, not their own money. Money is sh*t to the americans. They threaten you, put thugs at your door to scare you, and charge you for the "protection fee". Not a cent of the hired thugs are theirs.

The world economy is like this. There are 5 asians and 1 american trapped on a tiny island. The asians jobs are gathering wood for a fire, making and maintaining the fire, catching animals, cooking animals, and gathering fruits. The American's job is eating. Well, not exactly, the american has a tanning salon that none of the asians use. The American also tells the Asians: I'm driving growth on this island. Without me, you'd all be unemployed. So keep working for me. As a small reward to keep the Asians alive he lets them have some of his scraps.

The obvious solution, of course, is to drown the american and cook him.

You never said this in the past 5-6 decades and now suddenly you don't share any strategic interest with them. Try saying this before you get any aid from them. I recently heard Zardari is going to ask US for more F16 and last yea there were news about Pakistan's request for drones. While asking for aid, you don't have any trouble otherwise US does not share strategic interest with you. I hope this war on terror finishes soon and US takes away her support from you guys. That will be a really nice day but i don't think you guys are ready for this and thats why this so called war on terror will continue thanx to you guys.

3 years kids know the following truth:

1. We Chinese want to see a developed and stable Asia. This is in all Asian countries' interest, but not in America's - a developed and stable Asia has no room for US.

2. We Chinese don't like power projection, we don't come to your house to tell you how to run your family business. We will never do it. The US will never understand this.

3. We Chinese try very hard to live side by side with all Muslims, we see this world big enough for everyone. The US is fighting Muslims everywhere.
