every sane defence analyst knows that china heavily outnumber india in frigates and ships atleast 6:1
also china first carrier has more indigenous equipment than india first one thats its building, most of the equipment on it will be imported
lastly the displacement of chinese carrier and its function is vastly superior to any carrier thats going to come in this decade into indian navy
regarding experience, only country which has some real experience behind it is USA
i dont think so operating small light carriers count as much experience..even if it does by end of this decade china will have more experience in carrier operation than india

IN wants to ensure that our territorial waters are not compromised in war time and to ensure safety of shipping lanes in BOB, AS and IOR regions.

Experience means the ability to successfully manage carrier operations on high seas during both peace and war times.

well than plz dont fight like kids..check this thread, u will know what imean..
regarding indigenous equipment have you read/listen to breifing on your carrier..nearly every subsystem will be imported
china imported nothing except the super struture for their carrier and will import nothing for the ongoing project..

you have gone around and round and admitting what i said earlier..why does than every indian thinks they have outsmarted india when it seems china has outnumbered india more than what india has done with pakistan

yeah just a few months back their was no credible source that china will have aircrafts on carrier and a year back their was no credible source that china will even have a carrier, it was simply a casino

where as india has a credible source that it will have an indigenous carrier for three decades now

you will only see the chinese official source when its deployed and ready completely
while an indian source comes a decade before its in planning stage

Because military insiders and eyewitnesses have a far better track record than online sources as far as credibility is concerned. Not to mention that China did announce they are building a larger unit.
