Yeah it will be huge war in magnitude and resources will be wasted but the potential of gaining far better stuff is great. But it is not good to attack them when the world is not busy meaning the best timing is when the world is at conflict in some other areas example in Europe if Russia and NATO were to clash it gives room and opportunity to seize junks of India.

Pakistan is almost done and dusted. Upon disintegration, Punjab can join Indian Punjab. There is a strong Khalistan movement there which can be achieved easily when Pakistani Punjab joins them. Indians will then have no way of keeping Punjab under their control which is a large fertile state that produces a lot of food for them.
They may even start starving if they lose Punjab and a combined Punjab can be a rich prosperous country.
