Although its true that iaf has made a lot of advances in the past decades, it is still no way near the level of just launching any war against PAF.

We all saw how india retreated in humiliation in 2001 and how it backed out of surgical strike mantra in 2008.

With JF-17 Thunder program coming online in future decades, Pakistan will have hundreds of 4/4.5 generation fighter jets with BVRs, Cruise missiles, smart bombs, long-range stand-off weapons, anti-runway bombs, sophisticated radars and avionics and what not.

indians will have the same.

Hence Pakistan will achieve its objective of power of balance in S.Asia..just like it has maintained it throughout the decades after independence.

there is feel good here. the logic simple....more money you spend better fighter jets you get. as India spend 8 times more than pakistan, India will naturally have better fighter jets

Well you dont really need su30mki when it comes to war between nuclear power countries. Nuclear babur missile attached to jf17 can do better job thn su30mki.

We wont need our airforce.Agni I / Shaurya can do the job.

F16 block 50/52 can handle su30mki very well.

PAF is just a puny little force with 50 odd wannabe 4th gen JF 17 and a few F 16 blk 52.Rest is all 3rd gen Mirages and F 7.And there we have IAF with 200+ Su 30MKI
Total overkill ! First let them fuel their planes,before they can think of countering IAF

its unfair how people keep talking about MKI.

IAF has so many other formidable planes in its arsenal. M2-5, Mig21Bisons, Mig29s, jaguars, ... which themselves can knock out most AFs including that of Pakistan
