hq9 s-300 ki hi to copy hai
Nothing surprising to see your lot trolling here .
The usual BS ! ' This is a copy of this , that is a copy of that and its either reverse engineered/stolen/copied and well inferior since it isn't Western or Russian ' . Just seen plenty of comments like that in this thread too , of course devoid of any logic , comparison or research .
i heard that the yankees were busy finding the launch sites when we went high alert after mumbai attacks and that they even found some. is it true ?
Nothing as such. The US was not involved as such in trying to spy on us during that period. What are plausible rumours is that they checked out supposed militant training sites as alleged by the Indians but found nothing there.
So how many HQ-9 batteries are operational atm, any idea?
No idea. On official records the system has not been purchased at any time in the past 5 years by the armed forces. So unless the system was purchased using the accounts of "black" organizations such as SPD, NESCOM and the like whose accounts are not published; the system is not in Pakistan.
Most probably then its been an under the table purchase, for what reason one can only wonder- its not as if either side can hide such systems without packing them off completely. No?
The S-300 series is much more mobile than something like the Sa-2 I suppose. Yet, These sites serve no purpose if they are not deployed and ready for action. That being said, the response time of setting up a system is anywhere from within 15 minutes to 30 minutes. So perhaps if there are such batteries, they could easily be hiding away in plain sight to deploy in case things go bad.
Must tide over some of the issues related with the ADGE. Game changer, significant increase in capability?
HQ-9 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia @Oscar wikki also says Pakistan is using this missile system
Please stop trusting all that it is there on the internet, such as wikipedia. Most of the material on the internet is altered, mutilated, poisoned and generally crap , especially on religion and politics.
