You clearly don't know how China works, if there is no forbidden searches, China will crack down on that company. Plus forbidding certain search terms is for own protection from legal lawsuits. In other words, you a dumb company if you don't have search term censors, but a smart company if you do.

But my question was, is it also forbidden support publicly Xi or CCP in China under your own initiative? is it a taboo topic? You can't wear a tshirt saying Long life Xi Jinping?

I think that's weird and frightening.

This reminds me a Ultra orthodox Jews who can't say the 4 letters of God name, or Muslims who can't depict the Prophet, even if they fully respect and praise them.

I've discovered the reason behind the censorship.

If you search in google: site:aliexpress.com "xi jinping"

You'll find results, i.e: it's a recent censorship.

And I guess the reason of the censorship is that one of the results in the first page is: "xi jinping pooh shirt".

It doesnt appear items with that title, but I guess due to the keywords people searched, Aliexpress way of work created that page.

i.e: if a great amount of people search for "yellow hats", even if there are not yellow hats, aliexpress algorithms will create a page with the title "yellow hats" showing black hats and yellow things non-hats.

In this case the page showed tshirts about Winnie the pooh, but with the title "xi jinping pooh shirt"

there were items like Xi books:

But can't be searched or bought anymore, it has been purged due to the forbidden string.
