US has the best BMD in the world . Russia also has decent BMD and also upgrading her systems. Europe is under US BMD systems plus they are developing their own. What has India achieved which they haven't ??

What peoplebforget is when they switch on the radar it emits a beam. That beam can be tracked and targeted.

As I said there are other ways as well.it depends.anti radiation missiles can also destroy this Sam battery.having air defence systems are good but chances of survival are minimum.pakistan is not fool to use ballistic missile before targeting indian air defence shields.

all these diagrams and concepts are imaginary until tested.you kill your own ballistic missile with your own interceptor and call it a success.that is terrible.every country develop missiles just to hit it on enemy targets and almost all design parameters are different.it's not like if you have s-400,than f-16s will fly in balochistan.this is ridiculous.

Hilariously enough before India even gets these systems they've already made them out to be some godlike weapon. Truth of the matter is that negotiations have already broken done so far and who knows when or if they even get the s-400 missiles.

Whats even more funny is that China already has these missiles and you don't see us make such a big deal about it.

Yeh we are Doomed to teach India a lesson . India will spend all this money then we will devise an anti missile system that will neutralize their s400. Just means we have to spend a little more on whiskey to get the defense secrets from India. We have a few more options: buy or make even better missile systems, use EW to neutralize the S400, develop stealth technology to make our planes and missiles invisible to the S400 radars or send in teams to knock them out before they fire. It is not only a threat to Pakistan's operation theatres but also to China, Bangladesh, Nato etc so they are working on a counters too. Another challenge for Pak air force to work on.

The Turkish folks will use S-400 as a platform to fine tune their EW system KORAL, which sees it's first operational deployment in this current Syrian expedition....

Most probably if India ever close the deal to get the S-400 missiles, going by the deal to get their Rafael, it will be at least 2040.
