Hindi and Urdu words learning thread.

i dont know who told you nizams were tolerant?apart from pseudo secularists nobody here in erstwhile hyd state has a gud opinion on nizams.we hate them to the core.the communists lead a great rebellion on the behalf of farmers in which many peasants have also participated. we still use nizam as a synonym for a bad ruler and a razakar for an oppressor.telangana which was under nizam rule was very much backwards compared to their andhra brothers who were under british.

Bharat --sanskrit word meaning
Bha---after
rat---Knowledge

i.e a country whose citizens are after knowledge.

Govind/Gobind--- one of the synonym for God

Go == universe
vind/bind == centre

Govind means god is at the centre of universe

Gopal--- one of the synonyms for god meaning
go == universe
pal == palna == one who takes care

So Gopal means it's the God who takes care of universe(everything)

Gopal - It also means caretaker of cows "Go" means Cow. "Pal" means Paalne wale(Care taker)

except for the Shani Waar, Guru, thurdays war, and sunday's raviwar war all words are also used in Urdu
