I never said it will end but it is imperative for you to maintain a military advantage over the Arabs.

Certainly, it would be painful for Israel if Aid is stopped; but would it be devastating? I don't think so.

Even for all the erosion of power that US has suffered in past decade, no country today could replace it effectively. Stoppage of aid from US would create difficulties for Israel as they have to seek new big markets, which are rare (only India,china are big enough) and have to compete in marginal markets like Venezuela and Africa but it still would not have serious degrading effect on Israel's military.

Israel could easily partner with India or China for developing BMD systems like Arrow.Even now they are partnering with India in Barak-8 project India–Israel relations - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia . Due to US support, Israel has limited it's interaction with Chinese which they would not have to do in case there is no aid from US.

You make some sound arguments but remember the bold it is your opinion, Israeli leaders however are not convinced.

It is a unique tool and we are preparing it for unique skills. We operate in various arenas, including the northern region, in order to secure the security of the State of Israel."

Haifa Navy base commander Brigadier General Eli Sharvit added: "The best Iranian and Russian products are in the region that is between Syria and Lebanon, and Hezbollah's and the Syrian army's efforts to grow stronger do not stop. We are on constant alert to secure our assets. We assume that the advanced Yakhont (S-800) missiles (which were obtained by the Syrian army) have also reached the hands of Hezbollah and we are preparing for that."

They can militarily but can't do so because of regional state, I agree they should only have their guns in defense of Lebanon pointed at Israel and should have never gotten themselves in that mess.
