Well, I was talking about Indian equivalent and whether it is priced significantly lower than the American one.
Noted, and thank you for that clarification, @Daneshmand .

Bro the doctor has already prescribed infiximabs. See the report. It might make the patient more susceptible for lupus or infections but the doctor must have factored that in@Butchcassidy @Wounded-Monk both of you are wonderful doctors please stop the childish competition. The points both of you raise are valid The treatment is very risky in the condition of the patient it may save her life or cause her death, with no CBC we can not discern infection and the high grade fever mentioned could not bode well for the patient. The call is for the doctor to make who is looking at the patient. personally i would not go for the injections seeing the risks but the call again is for the doctor to make. please keep the debate civil and related to medicine not personal ego

Crohn's disease - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There are no medications or surgical procedures that can cure Crohn's disease. Treatment options help with symptoms, maintain remission, and prevent relapse. In those newly diagnosed a corticosteroid may be used for a brief period of time to quickly improve the disease with another medication such as either methotrexate or a thiopurine used to prevent recurrence.
Crohn's is associated with an increased intake of animal protein, milk protein and an increased ratio of omega-6 to omega-3polyunsaturated fatty acids. Those who consume vegetable proteins appear to have a lower incidence of Crohn's disease. Consumption of fish protein has no association
Tried changing diet?
Sorry man if i came across harshSorry was not trolling...
No problem.
She has been prescribed and the rest is just "rationalization" for non-availability of the medicine to her due to cost. That is why I asked if any Indian user could find out the cost of Indian equivalent but no one did. If the Indian version is much cheaper and affordable to her, then perhaps they can find some one to bring the ampules from India.
I will try to find out its cost in delhi, gimmi some time ...
Did I mention any of these? In case of food allergy and intolerance, there are tests available that identify individual foods
Did I mention any of these?
Read the reports it said Crohn's disease and that is the only thing I commented and actually mentioned doctors on the forum!
Please read it again!examples of food.
I am actually sure you dont know that!I am sure you do not know what allergy or intolerance means.
When did I say they dont? Point that out please! They know more than you.
Did i even talk about that? They have prescribed a medicine that she can't afford.
When one does not know about something, then it is better to keep quite.
Please read it again!
I am actually sure you dont know that!
This egoistic nature might get someone killed! TThe fact that I am a physician, gives me the right to write here.
he day you can point out what you as a delusional individual thought I wrote over what I wrote will be the day you have any rights to quote and accuse another of BS! Because my quote is out there for all to see what I wrote and also your quote for all to see what you THOUGHT I wrote:I am not sure about you. I say again, when one does not know about something, it is better to keep quite.

Did I misguide a patient I questioned! Apparently in your school life they failed to teach you basic punctuation and how to utilize them! What you were doing was misguiding a poor patient, advising to mess with her diet on your theoretical whims.
Before accusing try checking your own replies and jumping to random conclusions (yes that points to a mental case!)You seem to be a mental case with no empathy for a suffering soul. Do not misguide patients.
