Look at the update of my post -- I posted a link where the IDF itself is now saying that it isn't sure whether a soldier has been captured or not. And honestly, Hazzy, I do want this to be true - I'm seeing that news of the capture have lifted Palestinian morale and I love that. And I agree with you: whatever brutality the Israelis have up their sleeve, they'll try to do it, whether a soldier has been captured or not, so that news may as well be true. But we need to check our news - to be sure what we're saying is the truth. And as I said, it appears something may have happened as even the IDF is avoiding an outright denial of the capture reports. Read the previous post again.
this is how they captured the Zionist.
I know my friend, the core issue has always been Israeli occupation and constant repression of Palestinian people, We are aware of that, but what's the point of this conflict that Hamas helped escalating? Just more killing and destruction to Palestinian people and only very teeny tiny impact on Israel. If there was a good impact on Israel that would make it accept concessions, we must all be with it, but there isn't. Someone could say, here, one Israeli is captured and this is an accomplishment of Hamas to exchange it with hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, but to do that, thousands of Palestinians were killed and displaced.U know what the problem is brother that this will not end. How many massacres was sharon the pig responsible for. And still what was done about it. And it goes on till now. No one is going to do a thing, because we are arabs, and non arabs. And then we are different nationalities in arabs, and different nationalities in non arabs. But we simply cant be Muslims. I might not agree with hamas, but I really cant blame them for the murders that the israeli pigs are committing.
I see your posts now, also one in another thread. Keep updating us with these sources you're familiar with since I don't know of those useful twitter sources. Appreciate it.
I will update us with my sources as well.
This is just a past training photo from the past. My guesses are these:
1. He surrendered in gun fight
2. He tried escaping a fire that broke out in a home where three Israeli soldiers were killed and found himself amongst Hamas fighters(Just like Shalit, Shalit accidentally began running with Hamas fighters disguised as Israeli soldiers and they realized that in the tunnel)
3. They flanked Israeli soldiers and captured him.
..............
I've noticed that Haaretz's Twitter timeline is avoiding any mention of the capture -- anything confirming or denying it. And Ali Abunimah's reminded us of this:
It may be that Israel has been gagged from reporting on the subject; that would explain Haaretz's silence. If true, then that's strong indication someone is on Hamas's hands.
Brother I respect your emotions, if I was a Palestinian facing what I am facing now akhi. I would rather fight to the end then be a slave and get treated the way they do. May Allah have mercy on them, and may he accept ur fasting, and pray for them, and me.I know my friend, the core issue has always been Israeli occupation and constant repression of Palestinian people, We are aware of that, but what's the point of this conflict that Hamas helped escalating? I and many others have lost faith in Islamic groups and "resistance" pact who inflicted huge damage on their own countries and people to a degree that their countries need decades to recover from their betrayal and brutality. They are much much worse on their people than Israel on Palestinians. Bashar and Hz has been claiming to be a fierce enemy of Israeli and has long for 43 years threatening to eliminate it but instead he obliterated his own country. Iran has been the same but instead, it largely helped tearing up Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen. The MB has been claiming the same for 80 years, but instead they undermined Arab states and plotted against them, all their speeches and policies are based on lies and deception. There is also Al-Qaeda and ISIL who have inflicted huge damage to Islam and Muslims.
If you ask me how can we act to get back our rights in Palestine? I really don't know, but we are in our worst and we need to get on our feet. However, I know this, in all Islamic victories throughout history, the first thing Islamic leaders tended to do before any conflict is rushing into cleaning up their own states from moles.

As for the rest of groups, u are right, and we need a great deal of soul searching at this time. And people need to realize that most of these groups are following the path of our enemies, and are being guided to their and our destruction. Alot of cleaning needs to be done, and it will have to start with the corrupt leaders, and ulamas who sell for dime a dozen, and are misguiding the people.
What we need is not a pan arab or a pan that or pan this unity, but a pan Islamic unity.

I wonder why you or anybody else had put faith in al-Qa'ida, ISIS, boko, tailban etc when these groups are functional in the areas of interest of America and Co only. No doubt, we are trapped in a vicious circle. If we look from religious perspective, it has to be happened for the fulfilment of Prophets PBUH predictions that Muslims will be killed from omni-direction until the arrival of Isa AS and Mahdi AS. This is the only thing which gives hope but until then - don't know what's the solution!
You can't draw parallels with Hamas and the rest of the organizations you mentioned. Hamas is basically considered the national army for Palestinians. The armed wing has very heavy support and doesn't interfere in people's lives or lifestyles. They have no such ideology as those you mentioned and don't kill their own people.
But yes, we were told we would be in an difficult situation but were not told how it will change.
Mmmm... Let's see
More than 400 martyrs
More than 1000 injured
Thousands of destroyed houses and huge damage of infrastructure
VS
1 Israeli captured
16 israeli killed
Bravo Hamass
It is an achievement by a rag tag army of Hamas against the world's most sophisticated and well trained army. I'm sure the armies of the Arab despots wouldn't be able to achieve this much against the zionazi military.
It is an achievement but Hamas isn't ragtag.
