HAL Hands Over Tejas Jets To IAF

Oh yes, let's not compare it to the 100% Swedish Gripen:

And the PAF would LOVE to have more foreign content on te JF-17:

France & Pakistan to revive JF-17 Avionics/EW/Missiles deal as Indian MMRCA stalls.

It is for poltical and economic reasons they can't.

Wow, you really are a parady of yourself! DSI= the best thing ever put on a plane that solves EVERYTHING! Just by having DSI makes any plane superior to a plane without DSI.

Let's not even mention the fact the LCA Mk.1 is superior in pretty much every way to the JF-17 blk.1 and 2 - HMDS, ECM,Radar, BVR missiles, IFR probe, higher composite material content, OBOGS etc etc

The LCA Mk.2 will put the JF-17 to shame on pretty much every level.

Sweden is a Western country. Western parts in Gripen is different in nature as Western parts in Tejas.

You can put HMDS in an Me 109 doesn't make the plane a modern plane.

Pakistan is not using any French part in JF-17 because Chinese parts are on par and readily available. KLJ-7 is on par with RC-400.

Tejas Mk. 1's parts are on par with JF-17 Block 1's parts, but lacks IFR that JF-17 Block 2 has.

Tejas empty weight 14,300 lb. JF-17 empty weight 14,520 lb. Not a big difference considering Tejas has smaller size by a bit.

42 jf B1 was made by pakistan...............looking at production rate of PAC ...thats 6.5 jf/year it can be maximum 50 jfs not 70 jf .................

again stop BSing DSI boy

Production speed ramps up over time. 50 of Block 2 take much less time to build than 50 of Block 1.

so you are says because tejas is little bit lighter so composite is useless............not considering the that both are different plane .........where tejas has more number of LRUs compared to jfs

Not at all true.

The ONLY reason Pakistan is not using French parts is because France refuses to sell them not because the Chinese parts are on par with French parts.

Explain this if that were true:

France & Pakistan to revive JF-17 Avionics/EW/Missiles deal as Indian MMRCA stalls.

Tejas Mk. 1's parts are on par with JF-17 Block 1's parts, but lacks IFR that JF-17 Block 2 has.
IFR will only appear on the 29th JF-17 Blk.2, the first LCA MK.1 will have IFR. And what about OBOGS? HMDS? The LCA Mk.1 comes with this but the JF-17 Blk.2 still to this day doesn't.

The LCA Mk.1 does everything the Blk.2 JF-17 can do- the same is not true the other way around.

The LCA Mk.2 (that will be churned out at a rate of 16/year whilst the JF-17 production line is yet to cross 8/year) will have a new generation ECM suite and an AESA radar guarenteed whilst this is all just speculation for the Blk.3 JF-17.

And yet it is the LCA that is labelled the "failure"?

Hilarious. :coffee:

Tejas is smaller than JF-17 by a bit. It should be lighter. Composites weight reduction appears negligible.

KLJ-7 and SD-10 were evaluated against RC-400 which is a smaller version of RDY and MICA and the better combo was selected.

I am not accepting anything buddy. Tejas is mix-and-match aircraft with parts bought from all over the world. Gripen is inducted in multiple airforces. When Tejas is exported, you can start talking.
Export sales are harldy the sole measure of the sucess of a project like this.

JF-17 has all that. All modern fighter jets have oxygen system standard. Does Tejas have MAWS like JF-17 has?

so you are saying because of negligible effect .........are useless
where tejas has more equipment ............like HDMS , OBGS , more heavier ECM etc ...........

Sorry to say you are no more then a Cheer-Leader. You basically dont know about the Aviation, Aircraft forget about Fighter Aircraft.

I know you dont have a capacity to reply on the technical points, hence you dont understand which aircraft is better and Why it is better!!!!

So dont pass judgement about the thing you know NOTHING.

Bye for now AND CHILL.

P.S.: Reply in technical details or dont bother to reply.
