If Erdogan is there then they will win with 50+ % in civic body and parliamentary elections but before that there will be Presidential elections in 2014 with popular votes that too the first time in history of Turkey. That will be crucial if Gul decides to fight against Erdogan.
In any case Ottomans are by far the most potent political force in Turkey and assured winner.

And US nuclear powered submarines move around in the Hormuz.
Now can we really blame the Iranians for acquiring this technology?

You asked the wrong question. It should be why is Iran hated by all these countries, all its neighbours, most Muslim countries.
Azerbaycan is not a US ally, US has weapons embargo against them.

If you were surrounded by a dozen countries who all are US allies, what would you do?
In the last 12 years NATO has invaded 3 countries compared to Iran that is a great record.

Already said it earlier, nuclear Iran is not possible, only nuked Iran.
The whole neighborhood is against Iran getting nukes and they will stop Iran with peaceful action or force. Which one it will be, is up to Iran.
Because Iran threatened to attack Turkey. Iran is a malious country. What proves this? Just look around the neighborhood. Why is everybody anti-Iran? Iran pursues secterian conflict. Its regime is backward. They regularly threaten countries and just as famous saying go's.. the hen that makes too much noise will get cut. Sooner or later a conflict will arise because of Iran.

No one day dares to throw nukes these days. Iran is already nuclear, and if they continue, they have the infrastructure to acquire a nuke within a couple of months.
Nobody is going to attack Iran. Tell me, Iran is supporting PKK, is countering Turkish influence in Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, etc. and you guys still haven't done a thing.

Why is US hated by many muslim nations?
This is not the point. The point is one country's security. Just place yourself in Iranian shoes. Surrounded and isolated, what will you do? Iran did not even invade countries like Israel did.
I don't like the leadership in Iran, but other countries in the region are just like american NGOs.
Lastly, Azerbijan and Israel have come closer and so have the US and Azerbijan. You are fast moving into their camp via Europe.
In my humble opinion, Turkey should criticize Israel as well.
But if someone attacks Iran, Iran will be given a nuclear weapon and theocracy will be more united.

The Gulf countries are largest exporters of Wahabism around the world. I am not trying to justify Iranian shenanigans, but just showing the other pictures.
Why target Iran only? Isn't turkey supporting a sectarian group in Syria? Alqaeda?
Like I said before, If Iran is attacked, they will surely get weapons.
