Greek crisis to hurt Hellenic Air Force

No you didn't and we all hope it is good for all of us.

You seem to have a problem. Greeks are not racist. Issues with the Turkish foreign policy doesn't mean much to how good relations have been for a number of years now.

If you look past the 6 or 12 miles, trade and commerce and tourism has been good for both countries.

A rule of the trade says that you don't want your shop to be the only one that is working down a street.
when there are many there is a market ... get it?

Greeks are racist as next man... Every nation has those and unfourtunatly with Greek-Turk relationship two side has significant amount of racists as their own... It is a funny love/hate relationship :)

why would we sell them?

He was talking about Greek F-16s and AWACs....

. .
Greece and Turkey need to sort out there issues already and move on to bigger things here.... the past is the past and we all must hold hands. :)

I hope we - on both sides of the divide - learn that lesson in the Indian Subcontinent too !

.
Can anyone tell me briefly : What is your beef with Greece and vice versa ?

.
Every big superpowers have some messes. 500 years ago, today's USA was us, we conquered, raped and attacked into the Europe and Balkans. Now, they're hating us.

"es ist schon dunkel türken kommen türken kommen"

We don't hate you, we don't like the expansionist approach of your foreign policies. There is a difference.

. . .
forget about greece lets think about ourselves , i cant believe it does america have 60 destroyers? we dnt even have 1 their a real superpower for sure

.
we're not imperialists. what part of Greece are we going after?

Turkey's official stance is that the Greek islands should have no insular shelf.

That is pretty major.

But nonetheless, it is policies, i think working men have come along way in good relations the last 40 years even after the cyprus invasion.

I wonder if Greece has a plan to counter Turkeys` F-35 procurement? Despite their economic situation, imho they have to counter that otherwise the balance of power will be enormously in favor of Turkey

There is no way that Greece can ever hope to match Turkey in any way.

Turkey's advancement into a developed country by the end of this decade will mean that Greece will finally realise that a country of 10 million can ever hope to have parity with one of 80 million.

.
they could never compete or try to match us with anyway just how far we are from USA or any country in the world

.
Actually, Greece never had the intention to match Turkey, at least i think so..Logically its possible but very source consuming thing to do for her..What Greece did in the last few decades is, they tried to pack quite powerful punch to menace her oppressor* (in this case, its Turkey)..They made sure that whoever attacks Greece will get hurt too..But this economic crisis really hit them hard..Now, while Turkey is arming herself like there is no tomorrow, Greece will focus on economic crisis for at least 10 years and this will really increase the existing gap between Turkish-Greek military balance..And believe me this is not for the benefit of Europe..Now i wonder what will they do about it? Any opinions? I would like to hear your opinion too amalakas
