Every season has its unique beauty.
I like the autumn of Wuhan University most.
(I am not a graduate from Wuhan)

Of course, the most popular season is spring when thousands of tourists from all over China flood into the campus for cheery blossoms. Cherry blossom in Wuhan University is also a symbol of Sino-Japanese friendship.

Those A/Cs are eyesores that I see too often in China ruining even the most beautiful buildings. Don't people notice that?

Central A/C system. Our old buildings all have central A/C and heating without altering the total look of the building. An old building such as the Wuhan University would certainly be under heritage and monument protection in Europe. Modernisation should not alter the look of the building that is deemed as alien or ugly.

Agree. My own university is mostly equipped with central A/C system, which is in Shanghai. Maybe it's about their fiscal capacity?

They were built in the last dynasty, ROC. Well, not too long ago, but they have gone through so many wars.

Of cause they have gone through redecoration, after WWII and then three decades of lack of maintenance. There were no A/C. When I was in primary school in 1990s, no A/C at that time.

You can also check Xiamen University, said to be the most beautiful university by locals, located by the sea in Xiamen City.
