One of the best Medical Universities in all of China....Sun Yat Sen University....even westerners (americans) come there to study medicine....

we do have the youth version of 'Grandpa Sun' statue . lol not the oji-san like ones in other campuses!

Hahaha!! i forgot you've got one too! i was thinking of other Sun statues in SYSU.
...but your Grandpa Sun in the pic has married madam Song, right? that's definitely not young....

see ours still has the Qing style hair, and he's single (i guess?) .
ah how time flies...

sorry,but I do not have too much faith on our university.
it's just too easy to graduate.

In Canada our universities are harder to graduate. So most students study to pass the exam and not learn the materials. So it's a double edged sword.

Being easy to grad is fine / question is , can the student retain the knowledge and did he learn from the course? When I graduated in finance in Canada's university I learnt very little lol. I memorize and pass tests, that's it.

Meaning the students only study on how to pass exams by using old tests and regurgitating the text book as suppose to learning and understanding the material.

In another word, memorize as much the text book as possible and not the concept.

University of Tokyo is in the same league as Harvard or Oxford. Many post docs from UofT do sabbaticals in Harvard, UofPenn, Cambridge , Oxford, Tsinghua , or MIT.

So yea.

Though i don't think they are up there with Harvard and Oxford yet.

She's ranked as #1 best global university in Asia. With graduates and post docs contributing to the IP generation in Japan and abroad. I would deign to say that it is pedestaled in the same rank. In the whole of Asia, University of Tokyo is #1. Remember that.

In modern Chinese, from left to right, learn from Han dynasty, found the state on military force.

Ranked 49th in Asia, Wuhan University is located in Wuchang, one district south to Yangtze River in Wuhan City, at the southern bank of East Lake.
