I repeat. IF PPP is not involved, pick up the phone and tell UAE, that please let them operate.
Why has that not happened? This question was asked and Sheri Rehman just said "Oh I take responsibility for that" and all the guests were like "oh ok". What ok? Ask her WHY didn't they call UAE up? What did UAE say? Why is Hamid Mir lying for them?
It's simple logic that is defeating everyone's minds.
See PPP and Musharraf are in on it. They wanted to stop the coverage of the long march and they did it. Kahani khatam, now they can air it again.

Owe is that so, there were two programs taken off air by UAE, but the live coverage was never halted once of Geo, so you should think before adding another allegation to what is a never ending conspiracy of yours. I believe there were more than 20 channels showing the Long March so there is no question of that they were not allowed.
PPP has no connections with Musharraf for all I know Musharraf is a "Memaan" for a few days and later will be replaced by a PPP Presidential candidate.
Once again you seem to run around in circles. The UAE has been pressurised by Musharraf's "allies" and that has been the case all the time.
There is no running from the truth, the only person who cannot see the return of the Judiciary is Musharraf, he has kicked the Judiciary out Twice in his life time once in March 07 and the second time in Nov 07, he knows he has pending case waiting for him.
it will be incredible if you still come back and say there was this hand and that hand of the New Government behind it, why wasn't Geo showing in their news bulletins that the New Government is behind it, why was Musharraf trashed and shamed for stopping two popular programs.
Three Prominent activist, of freedom of journalism and press were sitting there and backing up the claims that the establishment was behind it, and that it was being ordered from the Awan-e-Sadar. You refuse to believe that then I would say this that Capital Talk has been restored and it was under this government, looking at that evidence and that what Sheri said that clears up all misconception against the new government.

Dr. Shahid Masood has left Geo tv and has Joined PTV, his career is now as chairman of PTV, and has said that he is commited to making PTV a seperate intitutute by law.
This was a few days ago I think this is excellent, PTV will look something like BBC.

Dr. Shahid Masood takes charge of Chairman PTV
ISLAMABAD, Jun 21 (APP): Renowned political analyst and columnist Dr. Shahid Masood took over charge of Chairman Pakistan Television Corporation here on Saturday. He will also hold additional charge of Managing Director PTV.
Dr. Shahid, who is a doctor by profession, was the Group Executive Director of Geo Network and served ARY network as senior Executive Director.
He obtained fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons, U.K and adopted medical profession and worked in Pakistan, Ireland and the U.K.
He later got affiliated with media after September 11, 2001.
He got scholarship with CNN from Pakistan in 2005 and extensively carried out coverage of three wars including Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon which was keenly watched and admired by the people.
As news analyst Dr. Shahid set new yardsticks and his famous programme “Views on News” for ARY, and more recently “Meray Mutabaq” for Geo network had a large audience in Pakistan and among the Urdu-speaking community around the world.
Dr. Shahid is known for his open and candid views on national and international issues, and his programme “Views and News” had to face government’s restrictions many a times for his critical views on matters of national importance.
After the events of Sept. 11, Dr. Shahid interviewed many renowned people, worth mentioned among these are President Pervez Musharraf, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, former Baluchistan Governor, Nawab Akbar Bugti and former CIA Director James Wille.
Dr. Shahid has been a critic of international war against terrorism, policies of U.S-led coalition in Iraq and Afghanistan and those of President Musharraf.
It is believed that Dr. Shahid was made to leave ARY under the pressure of the then government, after which he joined the Geo TV.
More recently, Dr. Masood completed his major in International Relations and Defence Studies from the prestigious and historic Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
It is widely expected that appointment of Dr. Shahid will greatly help improve the quality of PTV’s programmes, especially those related to the current affairs, and bring them in line with the country’s aspirations and requirement.

All we will watch on PTV now is our own people cursing our own Army. Yes this is what freedom of the press is all about.
