Pakistan wants to have good relationship with all of Muslim countries including Iran.

As for Afghanistan which in my opinion is a beggar nation, it is in their best interest to have a good relationship with Pakistan.

Most Afghans are Beyghairat ( dishonourable ) like yourself because when the Soviets were sitting on your rear end, 4 million of your campatriots took refuge in Pakistan, half of whom still live in pakistan living on Pakistani charity.

Tell that to the traders or merchants in Pakistan who trade with Iran --or vice versa. Iran just happens to be a Muslim country and a neighbour of ours and we should have a relationship with them I think.


nothing to do with khomeini brothers.....has to do with bilateral trade and interests



as for the topic --- we have NOTHING to do with any rivalries in Middle East or Eurasia. On Azerbaijan, we've had military and commercial relations with them since their independence. Nothing new.

on gas energy -- Iran has little to offer Pakistan under the current conditions......the pipeline deal is a 'starter' but there are issues


a.) sanctions
b.) political will (lack of it) to expedite the process
c.) Iran is facing its own domestic gas shortages.....there's little room nowdays for surplus exports


there is talk of electricity export and I believe Iranian electricity is currently being purchased for use in Balochistan specifically the Makran coastal region (around 70-85 megawatts)
