That's very similar to me, except that my father is from Hyderabad, India and he immigrated to Canada in the 1980s and then married my mother, who is from Multan, Pakistan. My maternal grandfather immigrated to Canada in the 1960s. He was superintendent of schools in Ontario. His name was Sheikh Bashir Ahmad Shad, passed away in 2008.

But based on analysis, it seems that Pakistan will be dominated by India which has a superior military and economy while Pakistan is on the brink of the abyss. My loyalty is not to Pakistan. My loyalty is to Mecca and Medina and Jerusalem.

As I said I'm a born Canadian, not an immigrant, I am not required to make any pledge or oath, either to Canada or to the Queen of England. Plenty of other Canadians don't have any loyalty to the State either, especially for religious reasons, like the Jehovah's Witnesses. Similarly, I don't believe in nationalism or patriotism for religious reasons as my loyalty is to the Messiah and Mahdi only not to any state or regime. As long as I live peacefully in Canada and obey the laws I am not required to pledge allegiance to the government or nation. This is why Canada is superior to Pakistan at least, since there is more freedom here.
