It would be prudent to make Pakistan strong as in having a sustainable economy but this is not possible with picking sides - Pakistan should strive for bilateral relations and investments from multiple countries around the world including the US. Pakistan also needs to do much to address internal corruption (so much is rotten within), and create a society that has values. Then Pakistan can work to influence other Islamic countries to improve themselves and create a consensus on various issues. The OIC should take charge from this point with Pakistan working behind-the-scenes.

I don't mind Pakistan telling Israel to behave but not Pakistan in its current form - it is a mess. Pakistan needs to sort out its own issues before it can talk big in international stage. Behind-the-scenes homework can be more impactful in fact. You threaten others, they threaten you back. So back to square one.

Even China is not issuing big statements on the issue. It has its problems and limitations. There is also an appropriate time and circumstances to call out a party on something - the moral high ground.

Hamas wants to fight, so be it. Sort this out in the battlefield if you can.
