Is it possible to visit Iran with family for Holiday ? What will be the cost ?
why not? i am not sure about the cost but you can easily find 4 or 5 stars hotels for 60 to 100 dollars each night. iran is a cheap country for foreigners don't worry ;)

With the possible exception of Turkey, no country in the Middle East can match Iran's natural beauty. May you guys never see the strife so common in the region.
Thanks for sharing.

The Miracle Mosque In Iran

The Nasir al-Mulk Masjid(Mosque), located in Shiraz, Iran, is truly an artistic master piece. Even more amazing than the intricate designs is what happens every morning when the rays of the rising sun hit the Masjid. Every morning as sunlight passes through the windows of the Masjid, the interior is transformed into an ocean of colours. This is something you have to see to believe.

Work on the masjid began in 1876 and took 12 years to complete. The designers were Muhammad Hasan-e-Memar and Muhammad Reza Kashi Paz-e-Shirazi.

Its sad to see that the only region in Iran that doesn't change for the better and only for the worse is Khuzestan.
As far as the akhoonds are concerned, Khouzestan is there for one reason and one reason only: to be sucked dry of its resources for the good of everyone else.

Anyway, watched this video recently and was surprised a bit. Roads are improving it seems. Good thread to post the video.

That makes me so mad

It's the longest urban highway in Iran. it's over 55 kms.
But there is nothing surprising in it though, I believe you thought we go to places with donkeys and bicycles didn't you? :D jk

Tehran has now the longest highway system in all ME, North Africa and Central Asia if I'm not mistaken. But it's still not enough for all these cars.
