OHH boy you didn't, Kashmir is a totally different issue its known to the world that Kashmir is a disputed territory and it not Part of India...

Instrument of Accession (Jammu and Kashmir)settles that.

A prejudiced mind cannot be reasoned with. So people here who have already have made up their mind based on years of prejudice nothing that anyone says will matter since their reasoning is blinded by pre conceived prejudice.

The Kashmir problem is not black and white, there is one truth that no one can deny that all kashmiris(hindu, muslim, atheist) have suffered.

There are cases where injustices that army has done (which should be condemned and the guilty should be punished to the strictest possible measure), but the army wouldn't have been in that place in the first place if it wasn't pakistani army's eternal obsession with kashmir.History has shown that every insurgency anywhere has injustices.

This latest problem in kashmir has all the elements which makes it so complex.

The genuine anger of youth against the instance of injustice,
the unemployed youth who is throwing stones just for money.
Then separatist like Omar Farooq fomenting dissent who can't digest that fact 60.5% kashmiris voted in the Assembly election despite the calling for boycott.

"Elements" across the borders paying local goons to create trouble so there kids die in the protest which will create more protest.

from past 2-3 pages i am under the impression that bhartys think ISI and Pakistan Army pay Kashmiris to throw rocks and protest.

Kashmiri insurgency, Kashmiri seperatism from hindustan is purely Kashmiri phenomenon.


I am honoured that the neighbourly country gives us so much credit for everything with regards to Kashmir and the ground realities there

Times will change and the stand of pakistan will also change buddy.


There is a foreign hand behind this disturbance in kashmir valley. Now pakistan wants to use democracy and protests with some violence as a weapon against India. And the recent incidents shows clearly that pakistan only wants territory not the people of kashmir.
Soon the real motives behind these clashes will be known to the people of the valley and pakistan is set to face another defeat after the 90's terror plan aganst India.

To tell you the joke of the century terrorists organizations in pakistan are organizing rallies to protest the peace process between India and pakistan. Pathetic way of expression, on one hand they will to the killings and on the other hand they will protest as if they were saints and your so called elected leaders will call it democracy .
I think these guys are mislead by some state sponsors who want to pressure India in a real pathetic way

And i feel the musharaf dictatorship is better than the democracy now in pakistan which are unable to deal with such kind of organizations and want an excuse by saying democracy.

I am wondering, arent you self-declared ‘worlds largest democracy’ why do you deny the Kashmiris the right to be democratic and exercise their existential, democratic rights??

As for violence, some of those protests will inevitably turn violent when protestors are placed under curfew and when un-armed people are being laathi-charged; when women have in the past and even now are being raped and/or mistreated by your local police and security forces (many instances of this taking place –like what happened in Shopian)

I say again, you give Pakistan a lot of credit for a purely Kashmiri phenomenon

There is no truth in that statement therefore I wont even bother commenting on it

so does this justify the obscenely large presence of troops who are opening fire on mostly peaceful protestors?
