F-15SA First Taxi Test

. . .
I just think a desert Camo or Eagle Black (Like the one on USAF F-15Es) looks cooler. Our Camo looks old and worn out.

We already have that on our Tornado and the black looks really ugly! the gray one could be for different environments as A Multirole jet mmm.. maybe yes maybe No!:what:

Sure we have Camo for A2G specialized jets, and our F-15Es are considered Multirole, but I still believe that they should take care of the looks aspect a bit more even if it takes away a little but of practicality, look at Israel, their Camo is very nice looking which gives the impression of technical and technological superiority in their Ra'am even though the F-15SA wipes the floor with it coming and going.

I dont think of its necessity if it really makes a different or not but I would welcome the six color desert Camo just like the one on the Tornado RSAF have now.

Now if only the Saudis can train their pilots to fly these birds.

It will make a potent threat to Iran.

we have the money to buy the best birds, and we have the money to train our pilots in best schools. Only take a look at the last 5 years and count how many exercises with real war scenario with french, united states and other advanced nations.

F-15SA Differences From the F-15E

Electronic Warfare: Instead of the TEWS used in the Strike Eagle, the F-15SA will feature a digital electronic warfare system (developed by BAE Systems), dubbed as DEWS. DEWS was developed by leveraging F-22 and F-35 EW program results and replaces 4 legacy systems of the Strike Eagle. It is fully digital (hence its name) and works in close integration with wideband RF systems, including the AN/APG-63(v)3 AESA radar, giving the jet a very sharp edge in the electronic warfare arena.

DEWS offers full quadrant detection and response control, containing aft receiving antennas on top of the tails, aft RF transmitters and antennas built in the tailbooms, forward RF transmitters and antennas built in the leading edge of the wing roots, forward receiving antennas built in the wingtips and a low band Rx knife antenna placed on the underbelly of the jet below the cockpit. DEWS includes a digital RWR, digital jamming transmitter, ICS and an interference cancellation system. According to Boeing, the system will enables the F-15SA to jam enemy radars while its own radar and RWR continues to operate.

Radar: It is arguably the most important difference between the F-15E and F-15SA models. The F-15SA will be equipped with the APG-63(V)3 radar, the newest of the ultramodern AESA line developed by Raytheon.

Our pilots ate trained up to NATO standards. And I am not the one saying that, it is Americans and Brits themselves.

LOL! Americans/Brits will obviously gloat for your gullible nation.Afterall, they need money.

Do you actually believe that RSAF's pilots and organizational abilities are as superior as German pilots?

Also, Arabs, specially Saudis, are known for unprofessional attitude. No strict military discipline, people get into military because of their relations to "royal" family and extended royal family...strict military merit is not applied and so on...
