Okay trolling was not a proper word to use.
HOWEVER, he brought up the same old excuse that China doesn't use so it's useless.
I just made my self clear there.

And about members making claims, well we all know that the Jf-17 will form the backbone of PAF.
Its not suppose to go up against MKI or Typhoon ALONE. It probably will, if PAF decides to.
(Block 1) Its main purpose is to complement the main strike fighters (blk-52 and J-10B, if we ever get them)

However, the later blocks will have the capability to take on any other fighters.

You (Indian) are not only stupid but stubborn. The Serbs are getting soft loans from their mother Russia. It is either that or something else... If they only can afford 6 mig29 then you can say that it is not a wonder they even go for soft loans. It has nothing to do with the planes in the "competition".

Anyway, it is not cost but simple maintenance, Easy to fly, plug and play system etc.

JF-17 did beat the crap out of F-16 and F-16 did the same in Air Force exercises. Going by extension, JF-17 is expected to be superior to the birds F-16 is able to beat, theoretically. I will have to ask you to stop going in circles in every JF-17 thread you find. The answer to you, and to those claiming JF-17 is superior to the birds F-16 outscores, is time.

As far as I know about the Serb problem is that they lost a few mig29, the rest was parked. Not more then a squadron or so. They have only old outdated mig21 active and even those are not very valuable. On the other hand they have hardly anything to counter.

They had only money for some 16-18 new planes if it was cheap. So the Russians offered soft loans and upgrades for the old mig29's. There was no competition. Can we compare the planes? Is JF17 less then others? Storm Force is just trying to degrade JF17 without knowing and understanding the situation. About seniority... It does not make one more then other. We do respect mods but for the rest it is facts and knowledge. Pakistan first.

JFT has won battels against F-16 and our F-16 have won battles against RAF Typhoons.

The topic is about export potential of JF17. Well that is huge but we need to remind that we have to sell a well armed and tested plane. That is what Block 2 is going to be. The plane which is now operational is like F16A/B when it comes to weapons. Last years we have seen that it got finally teeths. When that is offered as block 2 then we will have to see what happens.

The issue now is that many african nations are jumping towards Flankers. Surely nice planes but what do you want... 4 Flankers or a full squadron of JF17? Now with 400AKG, SD10B, LGB, Durandal, Ra'ad the JF17 is moving upwards to a lot more potent planes then Flankers. I predict a nice future in 3-5 years from now.
