Don’t know, Maybe China as well using its facility which is even larger than PAC.

Yeah CAC could increase production and send kits to Egypt. After all Egypt has been assembling kit aircraft for a while. TOT for certain weapons systems will be good.

Why not it can be done in a multi year deal as we have a spare capacity . Our current production is 14-16 jets per year while capacity is 25. So can be done just like any other multiyear fighter deal.

It all comes down to egypt’s financial terms of the contract.

Either way unit cost would go down for both parties. I do see one hurdle being Russia doesn't want Egypt not buying Russia's planes so may block engine sale unless China can introduce it's own engine for export.

WS-13 I’m guessing would be used for export once Pakistan installs on fighters.

Russia might be hesitant unless they feel the country could be within their sphere of influence. If I’m not mistaken Egypt still flies Russian fighters.

Your right, I do think discussing avionics changes is fine if about Block III, but exports should be discussed in appropriate thread.

most probably African and some Asian countries will buy block-3, most probably with Chinese avionics and weapon systems, Western avionics are least probability because western countries are currently reluctant to share/integrate its avionics/weapon system to China and may be some African countries want Russian Avionics and weapon systems for block-3

Just because pac is making block 3 for paf does not mean everyone would order Blcok 3 customer can request a customised configuration with older type radar and subsystems making it block N for Nigeria and block A for arzerbihijan etc


Similar to f-16 with some user have different ew and other subsystems


The only thing is maintaining a specialised version may cost more to support

even paf will have 3 version at min

block 2, 2b or dual seaters and block 3
