EXIT POLLS : Indian General Election 2014 !

The American press have all but declared a NDA landslide. Will this be the end of Gandhi family dominance of the Congress Party? I'm curious as well as to how the exit polls show Indians Muslims, Christians and Sikhs voting. Do they normally support the Congress Party?
BJP Won despite of Muslims Votes, coz this tym it wasnt a communal agenda as congress was trying to push in to save its *** of the bad governance. BJP won on agenda of Development. So muslims didnt count much. Rest all voted for BJP.

Majority of the minorities ie Sikhs, Jains, Christians- barring the Indian Muslims have largely voted for NDA.

The major issue was development. NDA promised development. Congress is very socialist.

Why would christians vote for a religiously fundamentalist hindu party like BJP is beyond me, I can understand jains and sikhs since they are related to hinduism but I am sure it must be a propaganda about christians voting particularly for hindu fundamentalist party BJP.

1. Because its not a fundamentalist party in the Pakistani sense.
Its a right of center party that talks about Hindutva revival. Its not a party that bans religion or other religions practices other than the Dharmic ones.

2. Because the elections are not about religion. Common men and women have voted for NDA
And these elections have been fought over development and economic issues. BJP and Narendra Modi have promised economic revival.

3. Congress has failed in economic growth and reforms.

4. Hindus and Christians have largely gotten along quite well. The only problem has been with the christian missionaries in tribal areas and their conversion practices. The average Christian in India has the exact same concerns as the average Hindu, Sikh or Jain.

Infact the only community in India that does not vote on the regular concerns- development, economics, etc is Muslims. Their voting matrix is different from the rest.

Voting patterns differs heavily from region to region Christians of Goa, Karnataka and North East predominantly voted voted for BJP where it is a major party while Christians of Kerala, Andhrapradesh, Tamil Nadu didn't voted BJP as its small party there. Same goes for Muslims many of them vote for BJP in states where BJP is biggest party like Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP, Bihar etc

Which media house done comparatively an accurate exit poll in last general elections? Could you please share the prediction of same media house? @Ravi Nair, @arp2041

Also what was the general trend of prediction in last general elections?

Today's chanakya had predicted 2009 results accurately. But this time, they gave an improbable 340 seats for NDA.

If there was any need to further clear this up, this election again proves India is highly polarized on religious lines. This secularism was/is/will be bakwas.

Actually no. It's more had to do with anti incumbency factor and development in playing, not the religious lines. You will know it better if you follow the election manifestos.
