Dude in manipur bjp was virtually non existant till now, but now they have the highest voteshare. I wont say it is a defeat. Assam, Arunachal and now manipur, seems bjp has made major inroads in north east india.

It is a flawed argument that BD should have merged with india to prove that tnt was a flop. The premise of tnt was that the muslims of south asia was a single nation. The fact that 1/3rd remained indian and still do, along with the fact that Bangla mulims (another 1/3) rejected this foolish idea post 1971 proves its failure. India which was arm twisted to let go of 2/3rd mulims have moved on and never wanted to include BD. India by '71 had become a robust and vibrant secular democracy and in NO way wold another 150 million muslims and hand them a powerful vote block.. which would have been the case if TNT had not happened.
Let it be clear that india do not want more Muslims in her land and does not want Pak. Personally, I, like a bunch of Indians wish all the misery for Pak, but we don't feel that way about most of the Indian muslims (except some owaisi/azam khan types).
I am happy you guys still wish for some historical event and hoping that the same will occur. The country has changed for the better for all communities, I can assure you that.

Punjab is governed mainly by Akali and not BJP.BJP never won in Manipur and look today their seat number.Goa was not ok for BJP, but still the seat difference is less.All these states are not all traditional BJP winning states, if you check history.

2014 only 31% Indians voted this man in, 69% DID NOT.

because the opponent Congress indulged in massive scams.

These Assembly elections have not shifted any leverage of Modi's alleged 2019 pan India victory to his favor.

Punjab faced 10 years of anti incumbency, and there were corruption allegation against Akalis their partner in Punjab. In Goa, BJP tried to be another congress pleasing minorities over Hindus and due to that RSS broke away from BJP which has costed BJP dearly.

Bjp is non existant in punjab. There is no question of winning or losing, it was all simplly akali. This defeat gives bjp a good reason to ditch them and start working to establish to themselves in the state as independent political force. As regards to goa, to retain its hold bjp should quietly declare it a union territory back again, no one will notice
