What's new

Egyptian Military detains a Pakistani citizen.

Can you elaborate on the bold text please ?!! How is it different ?

It is different in the same way serving under Louis XIII is much different than serving under the French Republic; especially in terms of the relationship that the people had with the Army ! Back then, in the times of the Kings, no one had nearly the same sense of ownership as one does now to their countries; particularly because back then there wasn't a concept of Nation States & hence Nationalism but instead service to the Noble Man whose land you worked on when the King called for War against one Kingdom or the other, one challenger to the throne or the other & one band of Nobles to the other !

At any rate an absence of a refined common collective consciousness most certainly prevented the birth of Nationhood in nearly the same shape or form we now find ourselves in !

What uprising ?!! You mean the violence by Islamists ?!! They are definitely Egyptian by nationality, but not by loyalty and they would be the first to admit it!! As for foreigners, yes there is some especially in Sinai but their numbers are insignificant compared to the total number of Islamists whom their numbers are insignificant compared to the population of Egypt matter of fact!
I don t know the ground reality , but hope whatever you saying is true.

so he told your media, he was protesting? and from where was he arrested?
I really have no information about this individual whatsoever to be honest with you!!!

Agree with everything you just said, sir!! :-)

Lets hope more and more egyptians begin to realise how worthless their army is

Lost all its wars against Israel and only good for slaughtering its own people

The egyptian army is not a patch on Pakistan army our army would never do this to our own people

Easy on the anti-Egypt rant lads, some of what's been said about Pakistanis and the detained man, it's despicable.
But their country is going through political turmoil, if authorities are pushing they're own agenda, it comes as no surprise, politicians aren't saints anywhere.

If he is detained without reason and not released, GIVEN that Pakistani authorities try, then we have some cause for rage.

I think the snti Egypt rant has more to do with the fact that they hsve gunned down so many innocent muslims

And have arrested thousands with torture being central to their plans

So anyone explain what he is saying in detail . All i understand he is insist " miskeen" .

Egyptians are among those killed.
If we hold our own opinions on which side we are on within Egypt, fine. To post rants based on that, it's like if TTP start killing people and people blame the entire nation of Pakistan.

Ranting about Pakistan because the TTP go on a killing spree would be unfair

Ranting about Egypt because their military and puppet government go on a killing spree is reasonable

He was picked up from a mosque, where the mb guys were doing a sit in since yesterday, well u can say since the Jummah prayer. Now he was picked up on friday, from a Mosque, a poor lad who is looking for a job. Do the maths.

Pakistani Message: STOP MURDERING YOUR OWN PEOPLE, IDIOT!

He is one of the 1/3rd (as per Gilani) who are allowed to leave Pakistan or are leaving Pakistan.

Shame on Pakistan as nation where the people bring politicians who do not how to run a nation and it's economy and how to provide basic rights to the citizens whether they be kids or teenagers or old in age so that they can live safely and happily in Pakistan.

An un-thankful old man like him is going outside for a livelihood at a time when the politicians have provided all the basic facilities and necessities for an old man like him to live happily in Pakistan. We have a welfare system in place which is one of the best in the Muslim world.

How many un-thankful old men like him are outside Pakistan?
How many un-thankful teenagers are outside Pakistan?
How many un-thankful citizens are outside Pakistan?
