Egypt currently operates over 40 Boeing Apache AH-64D Longbow helicopters alongside Aérospatiale Gazelle in the attack role. Egyptian Air Force Apache squadrons are incredibly experienced due to an active role in OP Sinai and deployments to the Western Military Region. The EAF recently signed a deal for over 40 land based KA-52 attack helicopters.
