Yahiya was the only continuation of Ayub's disastrous policy, damage was done in 1969 when Mujib form the Mukti Bahini with the collaboration of India. Yahiya was about a year of rule only an extension of the dark period. The situation was turn dangerous when Fatima Jinnah killed.

I don't know what love affair you PTI fanboys have with Bhutto

Yes yahya is responsible. Nobody is contesting that. But Bhutto was equally or even more responsible for what happened in 71

Name all the culprits.

bajwa nay awam ko che samjha hua hai..

“I came to the conclusion that it is because of army’s involvement in politics. So, in February last year, the institution decided that it will no longer interfere in politics,” said the COAS.
Last year? That's a lie

In my opinion, he seems to be the only one fit for the COAS position.

He is definitely very good at diplomatically pushing forward the ideals of the common man, and seems to be a patriot as well.
He's a part of Bajwas team

As Dr Moeed said. There is 100 years of RSS anniversary coming. What will Modi f=do to appease his fan base? Another strike?

Public can decide. Just release it. If not, make a new commission.
Public are stupid.
They were shouting Jiey Bhutto while 44000 troops were at war with a foreign invader and were being attacked by rebels. Public didn't give a flying Fk

Yehya had one duty assigned by the out going President Ayub Khan. Pakistan had presidential system back then, not parliamentary. That duty was to Hold elections, which he did, despite a world record natural disaster Bhola cyclone.

His whole speech is a pack of lies, nothing else. But that is what everyone expects from this Traitor, Thug and Plunderer.
They are still trying to play a game of deception and manipulation to continue as it was

Too many players betrayed Pakistan, what Pak learn from 71, a reason turned into a nuclear state. 71 election 80 vs 160 seats. Mujib's final call for independence too late .... no one in a position to revert the slogan when the Indian govt dug deep down and some references say Mujib was totally surrounded by Indian agents ...anyway it's a long decision.
The mother of evil was Ayub Marshal Law. Which sow the seed of independence of Bangladesh and destroy the political bodies in West Pakistan.

But Gen Bajwa shouldn't deliver this speech ... the first mistake was when DGISPR and ISI chief did a press conference and now this is the second mistake...... they need a sensible advisor.

. . .
in hindsight, Pakistan forces should have regrouped and held on to atleast a smaller sized BD - either the cox's bazaar or the khulna region or dhaka. (cos bazaar would have been easier to defend due to terrain difficulty for opposing/attacking force, dhaka would have been very strategic - given its central location)
with the number of soldiers that Pakistan had stationed there, it would have been possible.

that small region would have been of enormous strategic importance now - giving a foothold to Pakistan into the NE region for India.

One of the main objectives of this speech was to divert attention from the loot and plunder, he made, and the bribes, he received from different quarters, for the regime change.

Yes.

People should be focusing on the real issues, factfocus article, new appointment, Azadi March, elections, economy etc.
