'Dying' Russia's Birth Rate Is Now Higher Than The United States'

How its backed? How much gold 1 rubel worse? - 10 tons of gold? 1 gram? 1 mg? 1 atom of gold? :cheesy:

Sorry but without exact sum that notion worse nothing.

Here real the golden backing:

10-rubles-russia-1909-2fda03.1375375347.jpg

It says how much exactly 1 rubel costs. That was tzar's rubel however. Soviet rubel was bunch of bollocks.

Dollar is bunch of bollocks.
There is a difference between the gold standard and gold reinforcements. The Soviet ruble currency reform after 1 January 1961 was formally equal to 0.987412 grams of gold, but the opportunity to exchange rubles for gold does not exist. But
In the USSR, each product at the factory gets its value. On konsevre was engraved directly on metal - the price. That is, inflation was not and could not be in principle.
But the currency of the country was just as much as gold. This was the case in the United States until 1971.
And now the dollar - a candy wrapper, whose price can not be guaranteed by anything except more than 2,000 military bases and 10 aircraft carriers.
And dollar is not even the U.S. dollar and nobody knows whoos.

Look here/ Most of those people went to space thanks to USSR.

How many cosmonauts from Eastern Europe and Asia come to space after USSR collapse?

Less then 20 excluding all the USSR republics' astronauts. And you claim this outweighs the debts? Come on man, it's valiant that you try to defend it, but you are loosing touch with reality here. You know what 100 bill.$ was in the 80's? For socialist states of eastern Europe?

This is ridiculous....obviously you are a tool that cannot comprehend some differences. From now on, i'll just quote your gems and laugh at you, won't even constructively reply to your pathetic drivel...not worth it.

Do you know how much lend Reagan in the 80's? You know that in the U.S. in the 80s crisis was almost worse than in 2008?
You're looking for only one side of medal, another one for you do not exist.
Although liberal propaganda made just for it.

Let's be honest now ,in 50-60 years Russia will be the Khanate of Muscovy due to the current birth rates. If you ask me it's going to be an improvement.;)

lol, when Gorbatchev came to power it was already going downhill. Poor economic development, bloating defense budget, iirc peak was at 40% GDP, deteriorating standards...etc...
Common myth is that USSR gave money to satellite Warsaw Pact countries while in reality it was just the opposite. They instated some sort of "solidarity" contributions in the 70's iirc, basically borrowing from allied nations. After the dissolution of the USSR much of this debt was returned in the form of military equipment and gas/oil later on.
Gorbatchev could do nothing. But what he did was good, that is, prevented any sort of armed struggle that would create sufficient chaos for a nuke or two, or ten to be sold.

Let's see if you'll make the effort and write an educated response this time, other then verbal diarrhea.

dude you fail just stop. Ever heard of transferrubel? The Soviet Union paid for various things even for the most advanced eastern economies like eastern germany the soviet union paid more on time after they raised the country. Eastern germany had always to come to the USSR if needed some products which it had no access in the world market like coffee.

USSR was destroyed by its failed oil dependent economy. In 1986 oil prices collapsed as result 5 years USSR collapsed as well.

Thats fact. Almost all incomes of Soviet economy were from oil. USSR could not even feed itself and was buying wheat in Canada. So obviously when oil prices collapsed, USSR economy could not last for long time.

Saudi Arabia has 3 times more oil than USSR.
Saudi Arabia oil production cost is about 3 times lower than in USSR.
Saudi Arabia population is 10 times lower than in USSR.

Norway economy is not that oil dependant as USSR, it not as militarized as was USSR, very small population as well.

funny how russia has more manufactering size to its gdp than norway or america. If russia is so diversified how much the USSR must have been?

Manufactiring is not a sign of development but rather cheap labor. For instance Indonesia has much higher percent than Japan:

I'm sure that explains why East Germany had higher GDP per capita then USSR. Ironically, in the 80's West Germany was lending hundreds of billions of $ to East Germany-then the richest of the eastern bloc countries.
And they were lending it because in that time (mid 80's) the central planning system was already unfeasible.

Rouble was worthless, probably only accepted in banana republics (ala Africa) or socialist dumps (Cuba), USSR was getting hard currency (dollars to purchase goods they needed) only via gold and oil.
It owed quite a few billions also to European nations in the 80's....

In Britain and the U.S. were the problems with the economy no less than in the USSR.
During Gorbachev's USSR's gold reserves decreased by six times.
He started the "conversion" - the destruction of the defense enterprises.
On the budget - at different times the direct aid of the Soviet Union was 15% of the budget of India, 50% of the budget of Egypt. If interested - search in the internet. USSR, unlike America, has not invested, but gave away for free. And if we lend money - then forgave the debt.
we Indians will always be grateful to our great Slavic brothers for what they did to help us in the time of our need.we'll never forget all those defence related equipment which the great U.S.S.R. gave us either free of cost or with soft credit most of which was written off by the U.S.S.R.believe me brother,Russia is still perhaps the most likable nation in the minds of the common people of India.its just some of our politicians who have sold their souls to Uncle Sam have forgotten about the Soviet help....

The russkies did it b'cause it was in their interest at the moment. If you're smart you'll not forget how they've conned you on the aircraftcarrier deal raising prices every day.Believe what you want, they're not brothers to anyone.

i don't know the reason for all that hatred of yours towards the Russian people but we Indians are not a bunch of ungrateful people.we'll always remember those dark days when the mighty U.S.S.R. stood by us in the time of our need and provided us with the much needed defence equipment at a very low cost.plus they backed us during the 1971 Indo-Pak war when the U.S.A. was at our throat.not only this they provided us with free foodgrains(mainly wheat and rye) during the time of the severest drought in independent India's history in 1965-66.so tell me how can a man forget all these acts of kindness which they showed upon our country at a time when we needed it the most.sorry but we Indians are very emotional about this!

If you don't know goole it:"why eastern Europe/Romania hates the the russian/mongol rapist" as to the help they've given you....that might be so but it was all in a geopoltic context, they're not brothers and lately they're in for a buck as the rest of the powers, but it's your mind, you're free to believe what you want.
