Documentary on Kargil - Nawaz Sharif’s Diplomatic Defeat

In the future, leaders should be informed (rather than just merely 'warned') that you don't capitulate your country's honour at the expense of its troops or at the expense of the MISSION itself -- and that too by running to third part country's that have no locus standi on the matter

furthermore, i will remind forumers that Nawaz Sharif had knowledge about the covert operation....as did a handful of his close aides (some with military privileged credentials). Unless his attention span and memory are as bad as his close confidents have claimed in the past.

thanks for sharing the video.

Neither Pak Military nor the Nation of Pakistan will abandon the Kashmiri cause or Kashmiri Nation citizens. To do so would be anti-National and against our principles.

Remarkable operation, I won't even discuss in detail but to this day Pakistani army still holds the most strategic territories in Kargil.

It's none of your business really how many peaks were and were not captured, there are far more than one. Fact is your Government, Army, and Media are too embarrassed to tell you the truth about what happened in Kargil. Indian Government is right about it's people they are like cattle and whatever you tell them they will believe.

Kargil war the truth.

it is a documentary made by Musharraf's fan in facebook

the kargil operation just doesn't makes any sense, the success & failure of a military operation is all about achieving its objectives & NOT the casualty rates of the opponent. Soviet Union lost more men then Germany' in the battle of Stalingrad, but none the less won the war, because even though Germany lost less men then the Soviets, but none the less it failed to achieve its objectives & even though the Soviets lost more men then Germany but it achieved its objectives none the less. & militarily the kargil operation failed to achieve its objectives, & it was a blunder through & through. Nawaz Sharif with all his ills cannot expected to agree to such a foolish plan like the kargil operations & axe his own foot, not only did Benazir but even gen. Zia-ul haq had rejected it, from all angle this operation was initiated by a few general's with the sole objective to create a perfect pretext for a coup d'état

Unlike smart Pakistanis who will re-invent history and distort facts so as to wash off cowardice of their military leadership!

No point. What people "get" is what they want to get. Too many Pakistanis go on talking about "victory" in 1965, in Kargil etc. They understand not what you say or maybe they don't want to understand it. They behave as if this is a boxing contest where the winner is decided on points scored. Objectives seem to be, for them something not very relevant.

Offtopic, how can we Indians trust a government and a country which do this kind of actions when a peace process was going on? I mean how many countries in the world do these kind of things and talk about they are genuine about achieving peace.. The whole arguments of Pakistanis was flawed by the bolded statement...

Pakistanis resort to same tactics, deny losses that they can (Kargil and 1965), and come up with tons of excuses for 1971. :bunny:

stupids are found in droves in Pakistan and hence shows the state of this country, the natural rule of stupidity is that on average if human being to survive the ratio of stupid Vs. smarts is 1 to 10 and if any nation holds that ratio then chances are that nation will grow and become prosperous. It seems like we have lost that ratio miserably and it shows when you listen or read everyone who still lives in Pakistan, and the worst is out youth totally clueless totally naive and no thinking capability and if there were any thinking capability you would know that in Pakistan in order for a politician to survive you do what Army says you do and to expect Army had told NS the truth well ok i hear you and let me go get a paan, and whats the point of this video it prives nothing, you freak wasted my half hour you nimkumboooo, get out of this obsession with one man and hate with another, NS is there for 5 years like it or not and Imran is nowhere like it or not so stop crying you little babies and do some good for that God damned country

Never mind, those empty rants of that fake TT who has been made TT by virtue of generous donation to def.pk.

But anyway, we had snatched that particular 53XX point from in 71 along with many more points much higher than that in same vicinity.

Japan did it once, when they raided Pearl Harbor after gifting medal of peace to US.

The Americans betrayed us real bad during Kargil. Lets go into the background. The Kargil debacle was in response to the Siachen attack by the Indians which resulted in the Indians taking 1000 miles of territory from us Pakistanis. The US during all this turned a blind eye to all of this. It was wanton aggression by the Indians.

US at that time had just finished using us in the Afghan Soviet war and it had no interest in Pakistan no more.

But finally years later when in response to the Indian aggression in Siachen Pakistan opened a front at Kargil US immediately demanded us to withdraw. We all know how weak Nawaz Sharif is from the recent forgiving of Shakil Afridi (without trading him for Afia) and Nawaz Sharif quickly gave in to international pressure.

We were never more brutally betrayed by the US than we were during the Kargil and after Afghan Soviet war. We should seek better relations with China.
