I'd guess it's doable, but if you wanna go through all the procedure, red tape and fees, that's another matter.

i suggest you forward this post to sandy. The one you linked does indeed seem well preserved, the rest are mostly newer series. And on average 7.000$ more expensive.

Nowadays, it's just a matter of taste as cars are getting better especially when talking about mpg. Currently owning an FR-S and a Mazda3 hatchback.
