Isn't it interesting that the same people who use the Kurdish genocide by Saddam as an excuse for power are the same people calling Kurds "animals and $hits". They make me sick to my stomach. They could care less about Kurds and more about getting power. If you think of it most people in Saddam's Army that were killing Kurds were these same people who are now calling the shots in Baghdad.

Saddam Hussein, commited many crimes not only against Kurds, but all Iraqis and absolute majority of Iraq's Ba'ath army were Sunnis because Shias and Kurds and even many Sunnis hated Saddam from guts. Besides, whoever served in that army was getting direct orders from Saddam and his goons.Either they should've executed the orders or face death penalty themselves. He got what he deserved at the end,hanged by the same people he oppressed.

Republican guard were majority Sunnis chosen from the same region as Saddam, especially its commanders. They actually led most of these operations against Kurds which you pretend to be sad about.

The irony.You believe the same thing regarding Syrian army that it's filled with Alawites, not Sunnis, and you reject the same thing for Iraq?
Besides,Sunnis are a minority in Iraq, but by what percent?Why would Saddaam Hussein make an army with a Shia majority which at the same time, hated him? How does that make sense to you?
