i can only laugh at your stupidity, stubbornness and shallow understanding of islam.Sorry but you are deluded. In fact, you are the definition of an educated jahil.
Do you seriously expect people to beat their wives with a straw? The whole point of beating someone is for it to HURT.
You also hid the other half of your explanation, the bit where you tell us to beat the woman as required but just don't leave a mark. Don't obfuscate your true beliefs.
Where does Quran say you HAVE TO beat your wife? Nowhere, so why are you fighting to retain this option for some idiotic men? It's not a sin to choose not to beat.
In all your wisdom, you weren't able to discern the simple truth of the hadith you presented. Why can't the principal of being careful and gentle with women be CII's and your message?

In short topi burka pehnao aur khuday mein band kardo kukri ki tarah
Motherhood, work and education and state laws are misogynist to the coreThere are many really good points mentioned here. Unfortunately, media pays more attention to what's negative, because they add some Mirch masla to sell it.
On the other hand, molvis want to stay on media so they just change the order of few points are already mentioned in their bill.
After 1-2 days we won't even see this topic on tv or anywhere else.
Well that's surprising some points are actually really good and are in favor of women

You dont need Islamic knowledge to know that banning baby formulas and legalizing abuse is a bad ideaI think this is strictly an Islamic debate. This place, nor the members qualify to be debating on what is derived from Quran.
Moreover, nothing to take away from Indian members or non Muslims members, but I would urge the Mods to close this thread or bar comments from non Muslim members because it will never add any value to something they have no idea about
For reference the decision or suggestion of CII is (partly) based on Sura' Nis'a Verse 34 and without reading into the context it is totally unreasonable and irresponsible to be commenting on the judgement. We as a nation have gone so far from the Islamic teachings, having invested our youths to worldly matters and studies alone, that we have almost lost the right to comment on the Islamic rulings/matters.
May Allah guide us all.
Whilst you will be thrown out of the conference on Chemistry for possessing the knowledge not beyond crammed periodic table, how convenient it is to be the judge on Islamic ruling while possessing no knowledge of the matter. And by the way just because it is something that looks like common matter doesn't mean it requires no knowledge of Islamic rulings and the context in which they are promulgated. You dont need Islamic knowledge to know that banning baby formulas and legalizing abuse is a bad idea
If a decision affects me or people around me than its my duty as a responsible citizen to express my opinion and reservations and so far to this date majority of their recommendations have been anti woman and anti poorWhilst you will be thrown out of the conference on Chemistry for possessing the knowledge not beyond crammed periodic table, how convenient it is to be the judge on Islamic ruling while possessing no knowledge of the matter. Again, neither you nor (me) and this place qualify to be a suitable ground for such a debate without running the risk of stepping into the boundary of blasphemy. The ruling if pasted plainly without the context might look odd but when read through in complete context will make sense to those who want to believe.
