Chinese satellite reveals photos of US Nellis Air Force Base

These picture show China process Satellite, that's it.

What more does that mean other than that? China has been spying on US airbase? Aren't we supposedly know this because wasn't it what Satellite do?

Hence, what is the point for this thread? Can anyone tell me?

Satellite is Satellite, you also need to know what you said about Google is also true on Jilin

- You can only see what Jilin lets you see
- The picture you see are not the latest (Yes they aren't)
- Google Satellite also streams back live video, not just picture.

We are debating the "Existence" of satellite, once you have a satellite, then nothing you do on the surface are of secret, yes, google may not allow everyday user access up to date information, but the problem is, do Jilin allow everyday user to do that too?

What the Chinese are doing with the satellite and what they can do with a satellite have no bearing on Posting these picture, just because other country that process satellite (such as Australia or Germany) does not post these photo regularly, does not mean their satellite cannot survey China or anywhere in the world, thus, WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS POST?

PS. I have US TS/SCI clearance, I had and STILL HAVE access to Keyhole satellite feed, I am not showing you that does not mean keyhole satellite does not exist.

You obviously missed the point of my post. Jilins provide China what China wants to see. Relying upon a foreign satellite can only mean during war time your access to such images/videos will not be guaranteed.

I am guessing the OP's intention is to showcase the resolution of the Chinese satellite and the ability to spy on US now. Again, I see more worthiness in the OP than yours.

P.S. No one asked or is interested in your clearance level so keep that to yourself.

Any country, have any amount of satellite can potentially spy on any other country, letting you or anyone knows by publicize these image is secondary. That does not mean those country does not have a capability to do it.

Again, any normal American would have assume China have been using Satellite to spy on the US, it is something no one can stop. So, it come back to my point. Which is

China have their own series of Satellite, and that is what we all know, the problem for this thread is not a showcase (wouldn't use these image quality to showcase something, and Chinese Sat can do ALOT better than this) So, beside saying Chinese have their own satellite, what does this thread say? I know that. But I never saw any satellite image from Russian source. Let me guess. Is it because their images were not as clear as US source images and unrecognizable for ordinary people? If so we don't feel like a revenge.

China did rely on GPS for its weapons but has since turned to its own Beidou after the '96 missile test when GPS signal were turned off by the US. Same principle here re. satellites.

The OP has posted something that contains value to me - i.e now I know the resolution the Jilin is capable of. Nothing more and nothing less.
