Interesting, can't say anything for sure, though.

The interesting thing is that we r buying the same sub

May be the chinks were demonstrating it for Pak Navy about its capabilities, and what better way then to take on drowning buckets of Asia
Can be a possible reason. Also now they r boosting their naval presence in indian ocean as gwader port is now operational

the underwater dragon is silent and deadly. we all should be worried. a chinese sub could just be off your coast ready to sink it's teeth into you

I wonder from where you get the info that "Sub came through Indian Territorial Water and remain undetected"???

and do you expect IN to publish news every single Sub Detection??

You guys should read this.....

The Tools of Owatatsumi: Japan's Ocean Surveillance and Coastal Defence Capabilities

as various reports suggests that Chinese Navy is hopelessly surrounded by Sensors placed by USN,South Korea,Australia and Japan,as well as Indian/USN Sensors pick them up real quick in IOR as well.I just despise Indian media's noise about PLAN subs every time PLAN subs come in IOR.But you've to admit, even they've a great "Sub Detection" technique..They doesn't fail a single time.LOL

Do you know who cracked this news, and what was the actual story, and who were sources of this news?

Thats the height of misinformation Pakistan is suffering now.

The sub sailed through international waters and its journey was well known through out and it never entered Indian waters

Please provide the link from an unbiased source that Chinese sub intruded in Indian waters.

Thanks

It never entered Indian waters, it cruised through international waters and thats why no official reaction from India except some obvious concerns

there are around 8 SOSUS Stations of USA(Old news though)..

Actually it is UNCLOS rule, when you cross international SLOC like Mallaca Strait or other's nation EEZ, then submarine need to surface to cross..
Lol
I am wondering how did OP come up with the word "undetected" ?

Lolz, I dont know why Indians treat Chinese as 9 feet tall.

What we expect from Indian Navy, that they sink a Chinese submarine in international water during peace time? Then ofcourse Chinese also liable to open fire on Indian warships in SCS.
