What's new

China's newest fighter jet J-16 copy of Sukhoi Su-30MKK

so what the article says is j-16 a 3.5 gen fighter which is a copy of su-30mkk is "better" than j-15 the carrier based fighter and is "Expected" to replace it.:dirol:
and still they believe that j-15 is an excellent fighter!!

Chinese 3.5th gen = US 3.5th gen = Russian 4.5th gen

Su-27 and J-11A are both 3th gen, while J-11B and J-16 are both 3.5th gen.

the problem is you always need a real aircraft in order to start the copy ... so you always slow than the competitor ...
Japan better than you to make themselve aircraft back to the ww2 era ...they could make their own aircraft carrier ( sure that no copy of others )

You lied yourself pal ...whatever you could say ,,, but believe or not it's our right.
To us, without russian jet engine, your Jxx is just aircraft by papers.
a F15 easy to shot down your Made in China jet engine-powered aircraft

The WWII aircrafts were even made with some wood parts, it is not even technologically comparable to the modern aircrafts.

Today's Japan has no capability to approach China in the aerospace technology.

According to you, China is copying because our aircraft has a pair of wing and a landing gear, so this must be copying. Then what is not copying? To build an aircraft without wing like a ball?

The Japanese car also has four tyres, so it must be a copy of the American car and German car? The Chinese babies all have two arms and two legs, so the Chinese babies must be a copy of the non-Chinese babies?

In China, both Su-27 and Su-30MKK are considered as the 3rd gen aircrafts, and J-11A is also a 3rd gen aircrafts.

Both J-11B and J-16 are 3.5th gen, then these aircrafts are half generation more advanced than those above.

Japan aircraft carrier is difficult to copy ? why you must buy a Liao ning so-called scrap bulk ... in order to start copying ?
why you don't just make a competition of aircraft carrier designing in China and start to build, without purchase of above-mentioned garbage ?
Why China start to exaggerate their ability just after recover that ?

Why China must ask for purchasing Su30MKK , Su-35, Su27, ... ?
it's for copying purpose ... because you cannot design ...

Why you keep importing jet engine for your copies ? because your domestic jet engine too bad

China never had any experience to build a modern aircraft carrier from scratch, so Varyag/Liaoning is just an introduction for us to learn its layout and design.

Except the hull, everything else in Liaoning are indigenous. Our second aircraft carrier will be completely indigenous, an improved version of Liaoning.

While to build a modern aircraft carrier like Liaoning, today's Japan has no such capability.

ChineseTiger, is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

Why you under estimate the Japanese ? Japan themselve can make more advanced aircraft carrier than Russia .... if they have no limit ...
You chinese know that US is the most advanced on it, but you cannot get it from US so Varyag is the only choice ...

Japanese experience in submarine also richer than Russia ...

Let study again Sun Tzu pal

- We imported Su-27 and Su-30MKK back in the 1990s, and we don't import anymore today.

- We don't have the plan to buy Su-35, and Russia has officially confirmed it.

- We still import some engines from Russia because the production shortage to satisfy the large amount of older aircrafts in our inventory.

Btw, we should not call Varyag - the modern aircraft carrier as you wrote

We know exactly what our enemy is. Today's Japan is severely stagnating, and you are severely overestimating their capability.

And you said that Japan has richer submarine than Russia, all i can say is a big lol.

Copying is a necessary qualification as long as it serves my nation. Americans and Russians copied German technology and built next gen fighters in 1945. It's our inability and incompetence that we can not copy superior technologies.

is it 1940-built bigger than Liaoning ?

Lol. Dont twist statements to suit ur wish. US and Russia's 3rd, 4th and 5th gen classifications of aircrafts are clearly shown and classified.
Even a basic wiki read would reveal such knowledge. If Chinese have separate standards of classifications, so be it. Kindly dont compare with other countries to suit ur needs of posting.
