For what Tamils should become anti-Indian? What have GoI done to TN to upset them.

Now, GOI India voted against SL in the Resolution. That's what every Tamil here in Tamil Nadu wanted.

But in the beginning our SM krishna told in the Parliament, that India will vote in Favor of SL. That created ripples in TN, After that only the GOI decided to vote against SL.

If our Govt voted in favor of SL, there is no doubt definitely most of the people in TN might want to go against the GOI.

Meaning out of the countries in the UNHRC, only India had a huge Tamil population (~75million) which was emotionally connected with the plight of ethnic Tamil in Lanka.

So India's position is unique and cannot be compared with say Russia or Qatar or China.

BTW Lankans should be happy that New Delhi saved them from intrusive inspection by introducing an amendment which made any inspection possible only with the concurrency of the Lankan Govt and not unilateral.

Only 15 countries voted against the resolution.
24 countries voted for the resolution including India.

UNHRC has adopted the resoultion.
