China readies for a sharp short war with Japan

No one here actually thinks that there is going to be a war.... it's just harmless sniping going on! :D

It all comes down to money. Does China risk it's money making machine economy just to stomp on some little neighbors.

. .
Kid there isn't going to be any war..... god forbid if it does, then it will be no holds barred kind of situation..... what do you think will happen in such a case, with all of them Megaton weapons, and the ultimate consequences? Will the Chinese want a repeat of what happened before? They will simply deposit Japan to the base of the ocean... it's always about overwhelming power..... no one thinks about consequences once certain lines have been crossed...... all that aside.... sit back and relax and joy in your abilities to bash the Chinese.... after all it's just harmless internet.

sure, if China fires 1,000 missiles on Japan on the first day...as the shield will only protect most valueable assets, many will hit their targets.
but you have to calculate Japan retaliation.

They don't even have cruise missile.

Just returned and leaving back in 3 days! :D
Good to meet you again :)

Regarding China muscle flexing and atomic threat, nuclear weapons and missiles are 1940's tech. A country like USA which is a very advanced country do have remedies and tech that are difficult to imagine.
They are fixing china and ccp and reordering Asia. This is a game and china is like a drunk person who is threatning people but under a watch ful eye of policemen.

he he he...I wish Vietnam has toys like Japan has. You should know they will add 2 more Aegis and 28 F-35s to the inventory soon.

Japan Shows Off Its Missile-Defense System - WSJ.com

China will soon have 20 Aegis DDGs into service, a good number of new nuclear subs and several batches of J-20.

Only US can afford a military race with China, while Japan will simply bankrupt themselves.

it is China who seeks to change the status quo in the East and South China sea.

. .
As the status-quo itself was artificial to begin with. Now what's happening is that there is a monumental shift in center of gravity in favor of China, due to it's size, pure-anhilation-power, economy or whatever you can think of.... obviously, it's going to take a few pot-shots of your bow..... it's the price that will eventually have to be paid with interest, there is no doubt about it, however, it's not the right time yet.... I reckon 15-30 years more.............

sure, China has an upper hand. Japan is already highly indebted.

But beware, Nazi Germany was highly indebted, too, before the WWII. Adolf Hitler financed the spendings on economic recovery and military buildup by debts. Germany faced bankruptcy. So debts are not a decision factor. No, rather it was one of the reasons why Germany and Japan went to war.

Too bad that nutcase Abe doesn't have the leadership talent of Hitler.

So what if Japan re-militarizes themselves and becomes Nazi-Germany 2.0? They will be putting back again to their initial position.

So now you finally admit that Japan is more akin to the Germany of pre-WWII?

you are right. the rising of China changes everything and alters the balance of power in the region. I´m afraid the blow comes sooner than one expects. The Chinese seek confrontation as they feel confident with every day passes by.
