You know that fighting Japan will be an one stone two birds strategy for us.

Since many Chinese don't agree to attack Taiwan, they still care too much about the brotherhood.

If China beats down Japan, while US just running away, so this will collapse the hope of Taiwan, and they will surrender to China immediately.

Imagine if USA cannot even save Japan, then forget about Taiwan. No matter what, Japan is still a much more important dog than Taiwan.

So? is only cruise missile certified for devastating, their navy can easily destroy all Chinese ports which play very important role in Chinese economy. This is just one example they've got advanced aircraft, so you never know how your opponent will attack you. Japanese aren't kids, they've got brains and they very well know how to work in a combat. plus they'll make sure china gets handicapped before their country gets destroyed.

US is much smarter and having much more experience than China in long term strategy. US only let China take Senkaku to force Japan to rely more on US's troops in Okinawa (Japan is trying to get rid of US's protection). TW and Okinawa r the Red Line that China is not allowed to pass.

War between US-China surely will happen if China dare to cross that red line , and bcz China generals never been smart men , so China never can defeat US army unless USA suddenly fall like USSR.

Taiwan is too close to China, and China's smerch (500km of range) alone can lift the entire island.
