A strategic alliance between China and India, if that is the long term goal of Chinese govt. will make China an instant enemy of people of Pakistan and Bangladesh. Not that smaller countries like us matter much in the bigger scheme of things, but it will make things crystal clear for our future direction. It will be a new beginning for India as well as rest of South Asia.

Bangladesh!!! Half population want to puppet of China and half is already a pupprt of India.

By the way can you afford the animosity with India+China?

cool down. it is about border settlement, not go too far for alliance with Inida.
China, Russia and Iran alliance is possible, but that is to deal US and west, has nothing to do with muslim.

I don't think we can easily settle border issue with India these days unless they handle us AP, which is highly unlikely. No point to make a fuss here.

Handle you AP. China claim in South China Sea sometimes seems logical,but AP. PRC just becoming another Nazi Germany, no logic, just land grabbing country.

India never commits to a faithful relationship, they want to remain non-aligned so they can reap maximum benefits from all sides. If China is dreaming that India will become some kind of loyal vassal state, that is because they do not know Indian people and their character very well..

Chinese are not that stupid to want India as a "vassal" state.

There are other countries like BDesh for them to try their luck. They got a far better chance.

With due respect, Bangladesh will think twice about joining any alliance that has India in it. To me a China-Russia-India-Iran alliance sounds like a staunchly anti-Sunni alliance, and we are a majority Sunni nation.

As if these nations sits and conspire against a section of a religion i.e. sunni.

Problem can be solve. But there must be give and take. China has hinted in the past to exchange South Tibet for Aksai Chin. China have solved all land borders with all its other 13 neighbors. Its up to India now. Can India give and take ? That is the problem.

Upto India? That is the real problem bro. We doesnt going to any give and take, you like it or not, and I can tell if China not able to solve border issue with India, it will be in another era of diplomacy crisis.

Its upto China now to accept the current border as International border, its upto you, otherwise India still have lot of cards to play, China cant sustain a pure anti-China.

Border settlement is your mutual issue and for you to solve or keep as it is.

Inclusion of Iran in SCO based alliance will affect your future relations with the Arab and Sunni Muslim world. After what Iran has done in Syria, pretty much entire global Sunni Muslim population is upset with Iran's current govt.

to see it in a bigger pic. we need a stronghold to hit US' interest in the middle east. unfortunately, Sunni Muslim countries are either america's allies or too weak. Iran is a perfect candidate for us, that is why China and Russia support Syria in UN.

Of course, we will try to balance the feeling of Snnnis as much as we can. But also you should get rid of the judgement of either being our friend or enemy.
