Why China build artificial lands from reefs?
1. They know that dashed line can't last for long. because legal basis too weak. And USA asked them directly for its meaning. They can't explain it in public.
2. Build artificial lands from reefs and claim their own EEZ is what they would try to do. Improperly but still better than imaginary dashed line.
3. Now it's their mistake to assign the military purpose and ADIZ for those. ASEAN has immediate response. Others (..) aren't inactive from the issue any more. Even a PH general offer the hit to destroy those ( surprisingly sole act, I never expect )
4. I guess the current tactic of China, to hit PH side, to pause challenge Vietnam. They know Vietnam would strongly respond to their acts, like last year incident. PH must learn from their own lesson ( Scarborough shoal ) and from Vietnam
5. Anyway, there're many thing happen underground, like Japan rising, cooperation between other big powers to regional countries. USA and India, Australia and of course UK. Burmese and Hongkongers. No doubt related to US hands.
6. The best solution for even China. is PEACEFUL way in SCS issue. Remove the dashed line and find a solution for status quo. The more China push upward for the ADIZ, the more problem they would meet. And there's a no turning point. When nobody believe in their good will.
